Ciao! I'm the founder and lead Italy Expert and Travel Advisor at Go Italianissimo. My love affair with Italy began in 2009-2010 when I studied abroad in Florence, and it only deepened during the years I lived there.

Inspired by Italy’s rich culture, stunning landscapes, and incredible cuisine, I launched my travel company in 2014 to share this passion with others. Planning trips to Italy felt like second nature, and incorporating Dental Continuing Education into my offerings made it even more unique. This approach allows dental professionals to blend education, relaxation, and tax benefits into an unforgettable journey.
Having my dad, Dr. Steve Edney, as an inspiration and guide is invaluable. With over 30 years as an orthodontist, he brings credibility, insight, and a personal connection to our Dental Continuing Education trips. Travel has always been at the heart of my life, thanks to my father, Dr. Steve Edney, founder of Edney Orthodontics in North Carolina. With over 30 years of experience as a practicing orthodontist, he’s been a shining example of professionalism and how to balance work with meaningful leisure.
Growing up, our family vacations often revolved around his Dental Continuing Education courses. These weren’t just trips; they were opportunities to combine learning with incredible destinations. I’ll never forget the excitement of discovering new places, the camaraderie he shared with colleagues, and the way our family bonded over these experiences.
Those early memories inspired me to create Go Italianissimo—a way to offer dental professionals (and all travelers) the same blend of professional growth, cultural immersion, and personal connection. It’s more than a trip; it’s a journey that reflects the values my father instilled in me and the tradition of enriching lives through travel.
